Can you renovate without an interior designer?

So you've been drinking some Chip & Jojo and you think you've identified your style. Unlike other style-based design philosophies, Biographical Design, our unique process was developed to honor YOU: your legacy, history, culture, language, craftsmanship and people. We dedicate our hearts to telling your story so that your spaces look like your biography. A simple style just isn't enough. We believe that people deserve to enjoy beautifully enriched spaces so that they are inspired to live in a positive and grateful way.

We are committed to creating an environment that embraces you when you enter and pats you on the back when you leave. The rooms should live with you, grow with you and continue to travel during the next phase of your trip. We can help you do that. Time is money, right? An interior designer makes a renovation go more smoothly, and good general contractors know this. A project that runs smoothly takes less time.

And a project that takes less time costs less money. If a GC has to hold your hand and spend a lot of extra time helping you, it will increase your costs. I often recommend consulting with an interior designer first before contacting a general contractor to come up with a plan that the contractor can work with. What are your opinions or recommendations? Great interior designers have experienced many remodeling projects, all of which are unique, but have a lot in common.

But you should still hire both a general contractor and an interior designer for your next home remodel...
